Turn your house into a gallery at Studio 88
From 7 March to 7 May 2023, Sak Homestay and Studio 88 Artist Residency will host the “Turn Your House into a Gallery Project” by Thai artist Byfah Noncharoen. The project brings artwork closer to ordinary people’s everyday lives, by bringing them into their homes.

From 11 March to 2 April 2023 Studio 88 Artist Residency in Doi Saket will host the exhibition “Laboratory 88”, which brings together international and Thai artists to explore air quality as part of the Chiang Mai ART for AIR festival.
Curated by U Bat Sat, artist and ART for AIR committee member, the exhibition explores a range of themes, such as burning, water, forests, air particles and the sound of the breath. Find out more about the artists and their works here and join us for the opening at 11am on Saturday 11 March.

For Women Historical Month and International Women’s Day, and to celebrate a global women rights movement, Studio 88 Artist Residency in partnership with Siamaya Chocolate Factory and Weave Artisan Society, is organising “The Backs of Women” exhibition by American artist Ruth Cohen, until 26 March 2023.
The exhibition opening reception and talk on women empowerment will be on Wednesday 8 March 2023, 17:00–19:00 at Siamaya Chocolate Factory Flagship Store, Weave Artisan Society.

Studio 88 is partnering with visiting artists Elisabeth Viguie Culshaw and Pornpimon (Mew) Mingmitmee to organise a side event with Walking Artisan during Chiang Mai Design Week 2022.
The project is a collaboration between Elisabeth, a textile artist based in Glasgow (Scotland), and Mew, a natural colour maker from Thailand. They will present the Nature Colour exhibition at Walking Artisan Souvenir Shop, 3–31 December 2022, as well as two workshops: a Floral Art Therapy workshop with Mew and a True Colour of the Cotinus sharing session and workshop with Elisabeth.

She is a strong creative influencer, live performing artist and activist. She is awarded prestigious international grants and residencies all over the world including representing the Bangladesh Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019.
