During his time at the residency, he immersed himself in the local culture, capturing raw video footage and creating a series of black-and-white faux-film stills. We’re excited to welcome Pornpilin Tancharoen, Art Therapist and Abstract Painter, to Studio 88. Pornpilin, aka Zign, is dedicated her art practice to disability advocacy. She has collaborated with blind and non-blind artists to explore sensory-based art, including developing scent-labeled paint to enhance artistic expression. Through her workshops, she fosters self-healing and empowerment by integrating multi-sensory experiences into the creative process.

Trained in theatre in London in the mid-1990s, Matt has worked extensively as a professional storyteller, particularly in museum and art gallery education, as well as community cultural development.
