Lin Myat is a Yangon-based guitarist, songwriter, and music educator whose practice moves fluidly between pop, jazz, funk, and Brazilian music. With a Bachelor of Science from the University of West Yangon and a Diploma of Music from the Eulogia Centre of Music, Lin brings both academic grounding and lived musical experience to his work. Lin is invited as a Collaborative Artist at Studio 88.

With a background in classical music and a deep curiosity for folk, pop, and world traditions, his work moves fluidly across genres while remaining grounded in emotional expression. Geng is invited as a Collaborative Artist at Studio 88.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Hyelim Kim, a distinguished Korean composer and taegŭm (traditional Korean bamboo flute) soloist, to Studio 88. Her participation is generously supported by the Arts Council Korea (ARKO), which supports Korean artists and producers to participate in globally renowned residency programs. Dr Kim is a recipient of ARKO’s International Artist-in-Residency Programme and will undertake her residency at Studio 88 in July and August 2025. We deeply appreciate ARKO’s trust in supporting her creative journey with us.
