It is our pleasure to welcome back Joanne Lauterjung. She is a peacebuilder, musician, and interdisciplinary artist whose work sits at the intersection of sound, creativity, and social connection. With over two decades of experience, Joanne has developed a practice that uses music and artistic collaboration as tools for emotional well-being, resilience, and dialogue across cultures. She is based in Chiang Mai, where she works with individuals and communities through creative, participatory approaches.

Veronika Petuchova

Veronika Petuchova is a visual artist working across painting, drawing, and photography. She graduated from HKU Utrecht in the Netherlands in 2021 and subsequently established her studio practice in The Hague, where she also participated in and organised exhibitions. Since 2024, Veronika has been based in Prague, where her practice has taken on a slower, more intimate rhythm, focusing on smaller-scale works, including watercolours, sketches, and digital drawings.

Based in Clifton, New Jersey, Jasmine’s work is deeply autobiographical, shaped by personal experiences and memories that explore themes of domestic violence, hidden emotions, and instability. Through her confessional art, she transforms difficult life experiences into powerful visual narratives, using sculpture as a language to communicate what words often cannot.

Known for her bold, surrealist paintings, Abi’s work explores the intersections of identity, culture, and the lasting impact of colonial histories. Her art challenges dominant narratives, using vivid imagery to confront themes of postcolonialism, education, and the complexities of personal and collective memory.

We are delighted to welcome Emma Hill, a talented singer-songwriter and storyteller, to our Reviving Nature Residency on Jan-Feb 2025! Originally from the remote village of Sleetmute, Alaska, Emma’s deep connection to nature and her love for music have shaped a career that spans 17 years. Now based in Anchorage, Alaska, she continues to build on her impressive body of work, which includes eight full-length albums and two EPs that have earned national acclaim.
