It is our pleasure to welcome Palita Sriwaboot (Fiws) a freelance actress, production manager, and acting coach whose practice is grounded in physical awareness, emotional presence, and mindful observation. Her work is shaped by her interest in Osho meditation, which informs her approach to performance, embodiment, and creative process. Fiws is invited as a Collaborative Artist at Studio 88.

Palita’s artistic practice spans film, television, and theatre. She appeared in the Netflix feature film Doi Boy and the series Zomviver, and has performed in a range of stage productions including Ila Kon Kam, The Heart, The Ordinary, and The Overlapping. Across these works, she explores themes of vulnerability, identity, and the complexity of human experience through both subtle and expressive performance.
Alongside her performance practice, Palita is actively involved in production and creative facilitation. She works as a production manager and acting coach, supporting collaborative processes and guiding performers toward deeper connection with their bodies, emotions, and presence. She is also part of the team behind the Chiang Mai International Butoh Dance Festival, engaging with experimental performance and movement-based practices.

During the collaborative project with Joanne Lauterjung at Studio 88, Palita will continue exploring performance as a meditative and transformative practice. Her time at the studio offers space to deepen research into embodiment, stillness, and the intersection between mindfulness and contemporary performance.
Through her work, Palita invites audiences to experience presence, awareness, and emotional resonance. Her practice opens space for attentive listening to the body, to others, and to the moment itself.
Studio 88 accepts applications on an ongoing basis. Check out our residency program and apply now.
