Studio 88 invites artists from all disciplines to apply for the Last Days of Summer artist residency at our creative garden retreat in the village of Doi Saket. Last Days of Summer Artist Residency in Chiang Mai, Thailand, invites local and international artists from all disciplines to apply for a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a culturally rich and inspiring environment where Studio 88 provides a conducive space for creative exploration and artistic development.

Who Can Apply:

We welcome applications from artists of all disciplines, including but not limited to visual arts, performing arts, literature, music, and interdisciplinary practices. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements:

  1. CV and a 100-word biographical note
  2. A 150 to 250 words artist statement explaining your interest in the program
  3. Portfolio of work (photos, videos, links)

Selection Process:

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of arts professionals. Selection criteria include the quality of work, the potential impact of the residency on the artist’s practice, and the feasibility of the proposed project.

Selected artists will be notified on an ongoing basis.
