We are delighted to welcome Emma Hill, a talented singer-songwriter and storyteller, to our Reviving Nature Residency on Jan-Feb 2025! Originally from the remote village of Sleetmute, Alaska, Emma’s deep connection to nature and her love for music have shaped a career that spans 17 years. Now based in Anchorage, Alaska, she continues to build on her impressive body of work, which includes eight full-length albums and two EPs that have earned national acclaim.

Emma’s music is a heartfelt blend of Americana and folk, inspired by her travels, life experiences, and the landscapes she explores. Her latest album, Park Songs, written during the pandemic, captures the beauty of natural spaces and reflects her gift for weaving emotionally resonant stories into her songs. Known for her dedication and authenticity, Emma has toured extensively across the U.S., Europe, and Canada, earning a devoted following.

At Studio 88, Emma will immerse herself in Thailand’s natural beauty, drawing inspiration from its landscapes and culture for her next work. With roots in her Alaskan upbringing and a passion for pushing boundaries in genre and storytelling, Emma’s residency promises to bring new depth and creativity to her already remarkable artistry.
