Aurora Brocchi is an Italian multidisciplinary artist, dancer, and certified yoga teacher based in Berlin, Germany. Her creative practice spans contemporary dance, somatic movement, performance, and visual art, with a deep focus on exploring the interconnectedness of the body, emotions, and mind. Trained at the Contemporary Dance School Hamburg, Aurora combines her extensive background in movement research with techniques like Gaga dance and yoga therapy to create transformative works that embrace change as a constant in life.
Aurora’s performances are guided by improvisation and instant composition, creating immersive, multisensory experiences. Her latest project, 3rd Road, Exit 55, examines the dynamic relationship between space, time, and human connection through dance, poetry, and visual media. During her residency at Studio 88, Aurora aims to reimagine this piece in the Thai environment, drawing inspiration from the local culture and nature to explore new perspectives and deepen her research on the body as a “home.”
