Ruby Peru

Meet writer Ruby Peru who is joining us at Reviving Nature: Pollution Alert Artist Residency in February 2024. Learn more about her work and plans for the residency here.

Ruby is a novelist, ghostwriter, editor with more than twenty years of experience under her belt. She often uses a humorous writing style to heighten and explore life events. She helps individuals who have brilliant ideas and expertise but lack writing skill to express themselves as thought leaders in their fields of interest. She has worked with refugees, artists, and entrepreneurs, but is most passionate about working with scientists to help them bring innovative ideas to life.

During the residency she will work on a book about agricultural pollution that offers an innovative, paradigm-shifting solution. In her own words:

“The book discusses the reality of what, in America, we call “organic farming,” and how it has helped and, in some ways, hindered the production of healthy food being made available to the general public. In my work and research, I’m looking into the system of community supported agriculture and finding new ways to make this sustainable type of organic farming  less expensive for the consumer and, at the same time, more profitable for the farmer.”
